The drink of the courts of Amadal
Before kir reached the soldiers, it was the drink of scholars and diplomats of southern Amadal. It was served during peace talks, before council meetings and throughout late-night debates. It was believed to cool anger and sharpen the mind.
From this tradition came kir królewski—the original from which all other varieties developed. Ghallian tirana descends from it, although at court it was never drunk for strength, but for balance.
The most harmonious of the four. The aroma brings honey and caramel; the taste offers milk chocolate, hazelnut and a delicate natural sweetness. Acidity is gentle, the body creamy, and the finish smooth and velvety.
This is the kir of conversation—the kind over which disputes end and agreements begin.
